Operational management · Chișinău
The operation, held in one working system.
SVETLANA ŞEVTOVA is an operational management practice in Chișinău. The work makes roles, handoffs, capacity, and management cadence explicit for owners and operations leads, so delivery stays coherent as the organisation grows.
- Who it is for
- Owners and operations leads of growing service and light production firms.
- What changes
- Decisions, handoffs, promises, and the weekly review sit in a system the firm can run.
- How it starts
- A briefing, then a Range Review with a written scope. Nothing is charged on this website.
Where the strain shows
The work is usually already being done. The system around it is not.
Operational management is the practice of making that system explicit. It is a fit when one of these patterns has become the way the firm runs, rather than a bad week.
- Promises outrun capacity. Sales commits, and the constraint appears later as late work, weekend recovery, or a quiet discount.
- Ordinary decisions wait for the owner. The firm is busy, but the queue for a yes is longer than the work itself.
- Handoffs are personal. Work moves because someone remembers, not because the next role knows what “ready” means.
- The meeting reports, then repeats. Numbers are collected, and the same items return because the room did not change a decision.
The range of the work
Six services. Each one is a part of the operating system, not a slide.
A proposal names the parts in scope. The service pages set out the purpose, the process, and the documents. The offer is how they are commissioned.
- 01 Operating model Decision rights, the interfaces between functions, and the forums that keep them honest. Open
- 02 Process architecture The few end-to-end processes that carry the customer’s work, and the handoffs that currently fail. Open
- 03 Management cadence A weekly and monthly rhythm that surfaces constraints without creating a reporting theatre. Open
- 04 Capacity planning A visible picture of what the operation can take on, and the rules for promising work. Open
- 05 Cross-functional coordination An explicit contract for one or two interfaces that currently rely on escalation. Open
- 06 Operational readiness Preparation for a dated change: a new service line, a second site, a partner, or a first cross-border workflow. Open
What becomes easier
The benefit is an operation that can be run without improvising the basics.
There is no promised percentage and no claim about another firm’s results. The practical change, when the work is finished, looks like this.
- Ordinary decisions have a home, so the owner is called for the exceptions that deserve it.
- A promise to a customer is checked against a capacity picture someone maintains.
- A handoff has an owner, a timing rule, and a path for the work that does not fit.
- The weekly review changes a decision, or it is taken off the calendar.
The path
An engagement moves in the open. The method is called a Range Review.
The review looks across the operation before anyone redesigns a single process. The full sequence, including what the client does and what the practice will not take over, is on the method page.
-
Briefing
You describe the strain, the date if there is one, and who is involved. The briefing is free and creates no obligation.
-
Range Review
The live work is walked. The constraint and the decision gaps are named, including what should be left alone.
-
Written scope
A proposal states the question, the duration, the fee, the access, and what is outside the work.
-
Install and leave
If you proceed, managers practise the routine. The engagement ends when they can run it.
Begin with the problem
Describe the operating strain in plain language.
Two or three paragraphs are enough: what the operation does, where it sticks, and whether a date is forcing the question. A reply comes to the email address you give. Meetings are by appointment.

Written work is in English. The practice works with organisations in Moldova and with teams whose operations cross a border, when the operating conversations can be held in English.
