Questions

What people ask before they write.

These are the questions that decide whether a briefing is worth the time. If yours is not here, send it with the briefing form. The commercial shapes are on the offer page, and the sequence of work is on the method page.

From the practice

What does the practice actually do?

SVETLANA ŞEVTOVA designs and installs the operating routines a growing organisation needs: who decides, how work passes between functions, how much work the operation can take, and how managers review it. The work is operational management. It is not a software product and not a strategy presentation.

Who is this for?

Owners and operations leads of service and light production firms whose delivery has outgrown informal coordination. It is also for a manager preparing a concrete change, such as a new service line, a second site, or a cross-border workflow. It is a poor fit if you want someone else to run the operation for you.

How is this different from strategy consulting or an IT project?

Strategy work chooses a direction. An IT project installs a system. This practice makes the operating arrangements explicit so people can carry the direction with the tools they already have. The practice does not sell or implement software.

Will the engagement end as a report on a shelf?

A written record is part of the work, because decisions need a shared reference. The engagement also includes time with the people who run the work, a rehearsal of the management routine, and a handover. A document that nobody uses is not treated as a finished result.

Do our managers stay in place?

Yes. The practice does not replace your managers, hire your staff, or take line authority. The intended result is that your managers can run the routine without the practice in the room.

How long does an engagement take?

A Range Review is usually completed in two to four weeks. An operating system build is usually six to twelve weeks. A cadence retainer is agreed month to month after the operating arrangements exist, or after the current rhythm has been seen. The written proposal states the duration for your scope before work starts.

Do you work only in Chișinău?

The practice is based at Strada Petru Rareș 77, MD-2005, Chișinău, Republica Moldova. Briefings and working sessions can be held there or remotely. Written work is in English. The practice works with organisations in Moldova and with teams whose operations cross a border, provided the operating conversations can be held in English.

What access do you need?

The practice needs to speak with the people who do and decide the work, to see the current planning and review materials, and to walk one live cycle of the operation. Passwords to personal accounts are not required. Access to a system is read-only, and only when a process cannot be understood without it. The proposal lists the access required.

How is confidentiality handled?

Enquiry information is used to reply to you. Engagement information is covered by the written agreement before detailed operating material is shared. Client names, figures, and case studies are not published. Photographs on this website are stock illustrations and are not pictures of clients, of Svetlana Şevtova, or of the premises.

What happens in a briefing, and does it cost anything?

You describe the operating problem, the deadline if there is one, and who is involved. The practice says whether it is a fit, which engagement shape is appropriate, and what a proposal would need to confirm. There is no charge for the briefing. A briefing does not create an obligation to proceed.

How are fees set? Can I pay on this website?

Fees are a fixed amount for a defined scope, or a monthly amount for a cadence retainer. They are stated in a proposal before you decide. The practice does not bill a percentage of claimed savings and does not ask for a payment to hold a place. This website does not take payment. Invoices, if you accept a proposal, are issued separately.

What should we write in the form?

Your name, a work email, and a short description of the operation and the strain you are seeing. Two or three paragraphs are enough. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, or customer lists.

What will you not do?

The practice does not provide legal, tax, audit, or accounting advice. It does not recruit staff, negotiate your contracts, or install software. It does not guarantee a financial or service result. It does not take over day-to-day management.
